Health

Improving access, awareness and continuity of care in underserved communities.

Conexus Foundation works to improve access, awareness, and continuity of care in underserved communities. Many rural and semi-urban populations face structural barriers such as limited infrastructure, delayed diagnosis, and inadequate preventive awareness. Our interventions focus on bridging these gaps by enabling timely medical access, promoting preventive health practices, and strengthening community-level support systems. We emphasize early detection, informed health choices, and structured follow-ups to ensure that care extends beyond one-time interactions. By combining grassroots engagement with organized delivery mechanisms, we contribute to healthier communities that are better equipped to manage risks and improve overall well-being.

01

Sakhar Free Shukrawar

“Sakhar Free Shukrawar” is a preventive health awareness initiative designed to educate school children about the risks of excessive sugar consumption and the importance of balanced nutrition. Through interactive activities such as healthy cooking contests and classroom engagements, students are encouraged to adopt mindful dietary habits from an early age. The program promotes behavioural change in a positive and participatory manner, helping children make informed food choices. By focusing on early intervention, the initiative supports long-term lifestyle improvements and reduces future health risks.

02

STEP Club — Promoting Physical Activity

The STEP Club initiative encourages children to integrate physical activity into their daily routines by promoting regular walking and movement-based challenges. Supported by a digital tracking application, the program makes fitness measurable, engaging, and goal-oriented. By gamifying physical activity, it fosters consistency and healthy competition among students. The initiative contributes to improved stamina, discipline, and awareness of the importance of active living.

03

Strengthening Healthcare Infrastructure

Conexus supports hospitals and rural communities by facilitating access to essential medical equipment and establishing primary healthcare support systems. These interventions enhance diagnostic capacity and improve the availability of basic medical services in underserved regions. By strengthening infrastructure, the program enables timely treatment and reduces dependency on distant healthcare facilities. The focus remains on improving service quality and ensuring continuity of care at the community level.

04

Swasth Gaon

Swasth Gaon is a rural healthcare initiative aimed at improving access to timely and affordable medical services in underserved villages and small towns. Through a community-driven and digitally enabled model, the program strengthens local healthcare support systems and ensures continuity of care. The initiative focuses on building sustainable, village-level health ecosystems that promote dignity, equity, and long-term well-being.

05

Preventive and Screening Health Camps

Regular health camps are organized to provide screenings, consultations, and referral support across rural and urban communities. These camps include eye screenings, cataract surgeries, cancer detection drives, and orthopaedic consultations, ensuring early identification of health concerns. By bringing medical expertise closer to communities, the initiative reduces barriers to diagnosis and treatment. The program strengthens preventive healthcare awareness while facilitating timely medical intervention.

06

Dil Se Fit, Future Superhit

Dil se Fit, Future Superhit initiative focuses on raising awareness about women’s heart health through community-based educational engagements. It emphasizes early detection, lifestyle awareness, and behavioural change to reduce cardiovascular risks among women. Interactive sessions encourage informed health decisions and proactive self-care practices. The program reinforces the importance of preventive healthcare within both rural and urban communities.

07

Menstrual Health & Hygiene Awareness

Conexus conducts menstrual health and hygiene awareness programs in schools and colleges to promote informed, safe, and dignified practices among adolescent girls and women. The sessions address myths, encourage open dialogue, and improve understanding of reproductive health. By normalizing conversations around menstrual well-being, the initiative strengthens confidence and school attendance among young girls. The program contributes to healthier communities through awareness and education.

08

Sanitation & Hygiene Support in Government Schools

Conexus supports the improvement and maintenance of sanitation facilities in government schools to ensure safe, clean, and functional environments for students. By strengthening hygiene infrastructure, the initiative promotes student well-being, dignity, and regular school attendance. Access to usable sanitation facilities contributes significantly to a healthier and more conducive learning environment.
